I am a Mental Health Support Worker. I attended this appointment with my client who was very anxious about his appointment. The overall atmosphere in the Opticians was friendly, calm and relaxed. The Optician explained every step and was non judgemental and reassuring. My client told me he feels he would be able to visit the Optician unsupported next time because of this. This is my second visit to this store, the first was with a different client who was again treated in a professional, respectful and reassuring way.

I do not normally respond to survey requests but the eye test given by the staff at the riverside boots store in Norwich is worthy of comment. I attended the appointment after I received a free voucher through the post. I dont routinely have eye tests but having the voucher spurred me to make the appointment. Booking the appointment online was a simple process. The Optometrist, Mr Wicker explained what he was looking for during the review of the retina images and during the the other tests conducted. As mentioned, the test was carried out under a free voucher but should any issue have been detected then I would have purchased the required spectacles/contacts from boots due to the excellant service received. Super service from the team at Riverside store in Norwich. The optometrist (M A Wicker)in particular stands out as personable and professional. Definitely will be recommending Boots opticians to friends and family.

I was seen by the optometrist Mr Mark Wicker, and couldn't be happier with the service I received. I have anxiety and he was very kind and made me laugh, I was very at ease during my eye health check. I cannot recommend him enough, and will definitely be returning to see him for future eye health checks.
